Made by Lyman, this "Ideal" front sight is one of our most popular early cartridge era target sights. All 17's are machined from steel, blued, and have a standard 3/8" dovetail. The sight centre is measured from the bottom of the dovetail to the centre of the aperture.
Height,- .852" for high target sights.
Each sight includes a set of eight inserts. The dovetail base measures .377" dovetail, .105" deep, and .531" wide.
