For many years there has been discussion concerning the merits of flint mined in different parts of the world. For some shooters it was French Amber flints, for others, it had to be Black English.
Well, now there is French Black. Our French flint knapper is producing black flints from a deposit in France that seems to be of the same quality as the English variety of flint. It is very fine grained and its edges are sharp.
