Shotshell Ammo Checker
Shotshell Checker, all Gauge Diameters
Now you can easily measure the precision of your reloaded shells. Precision machined holes, labeled GO and NO GO test for size and roundness.
Durable stainless steel. 10, 12, 16, 20, and 28 gauge, plus .410 bore.
Spin-Doctor Hull Tool
Prior to reloading, some hulls may require a little reshaping of the hull mouth. Some hulls retain a very strong crimp memory and will only partially open after being fired. Other times, dents or crimp creases limit a fresh, new crimp during the loading process. Sometimes you just need a fresh crimping surface - and that's what the Spin Doctor provides.
The Spin Doctor's special shape, when combined with heat generated by rotational friction, gently reconditions damaged hulls. The tool reshapes the crimp mouth by reforming the shrunken plastic mouth and smoothing rippled plastic. Fits in any standard hand drill or drill press.
The Spin Doctor saves the cost of hulls that would have otherwise been discarded; returns factory-sharp crimps.
Available in 10g - 20g, 20g - 410
Shotshell Roll Crimper
As you assemble high performance shotshells you will find that crimp depths can vary, even to a point where it is difficult to make a proper fold crimp. A compromised crimp will compromise the combustion process, reducing performance significantly. High Performance loads vary shell to shell because components such as slugs, buckshot and rigid hunting wads, by their nature, are not flexible platforms. Roll crimps adjust to the load, (instead of the load adjusting to the crimp) and the results are more consistent & sustained combustion and improved performance, critical for long-range accuracy. Roll crimpers can be used with a hand drill or drill press.

Trim Doctor with Exacta-Trim Bushing
Two tools in one:
Shotshell case length trimmer that produces exacting cuts and ideal short cases
Case disassembly tool
After years of searching the world for just the right case trimmer without success, our ballistic technicians demanded that BPI make this convenient and necessary tool. A threaded adjustment gauge in the Trim Doctor holds shells in alignment to produce a clean and crimpable edge. The Trim Doctor is designed to remove 1/4" at a time (about the same as full fold crimp): 3" shells become 2-3/4", 2-3/4" become 2-1/2". Two full cuts on a 10 gauge shell produce a 2-7/8" shell. Select the gauge of your new Trim Doctor; it comes with one gauge adaptor bushing.
Our new ExactaTrim adaptor bushings assure tight cuts with no spiraling and they are available in additional sizes to make your Trim Doctor even more versatility.
As a shell disassembly tool, the Trim Doctor works on any gauge, 10ga through .410. Just remove the threaded guide, insert loaded shell into opening and gently turn the shell while applying slight pressure to the blade guide. The top of shell will pop off cleanly after a few turns.
The Trim Doctor will pay for itself many times over by allowing you to retrieve components from reject shells and by allowing further firings out of many hulls with tired crimps.
NOTE: Does not include different bushings. Must purchase separately.
Universal Primer Pocket Conditioner
Even brand-new shotshells sometimes require that the primer pocket be sized down to a standard 209 size. This tool makes that process easy and saves you money on hulls.
Problem: After a few firings the primer pocket can expand and the primers may not seat tightly. This becomes noticeable when the primer starts to back out as the wad is compressed or the shell is crimped. The primer may even just fall out.
Solution: Instead of throwing away otherwise perfectly good hulls or risking a loose primer, you can resize the hull's primer pocket. Put the unprimed hull onto the tool (as pictured above) into place and give it a couple taps with a hammer (see "Additional Images"). This will resize the pocket back to standard 209 size and will now properly hold the primer in place.
This tool will pay for itself in a very short time. Excellent for resizing Fiocchi, Cheddite, and Rio hulls.
Shotshell Checker/Sizer Combo
A simple tool to check and re-size 12 Gauge shotgun shells
One end checks reloaded shotgun shells to precise SAAMI 3" specifications, The other end easily re-sizes the shotshell if needed.
Simple to use shot shell case gauge and sizer. Just drop the loaded shell into the rimmed end and let it fall. Good ammo will easily slide in AND out. Improperly sized shotgun shell does not fit all the way (see image 2). Re-sizing simply requires the shell to be inserted about a 1/4" into the knurled end while twisting and applying light pressure. The re-sizing end tightens the crimp points that tend to unfold with used hulls. Does NOT remove material or increase case pressure.
Dramatically reduces ejection problems in SxS shotguns
Aids feeding of shells in pump or lever shotguns
Made from high quality aircraft aluminum.
12 Gauge Only
Use prior to loading shells in belt before each shooting stage
